Das zugrundeliegende Element umreißt das kleinste Land der Erde

Ein Laboratorium

Das geläufige System, die Erdoberfläche durch abstrakte Grenzlinien zu zerteilen, wird durch Veränderung der bekannten Formen unterlaufen: die Landkarte, in kleine Bestandteile atomisiert, entzieht sich, zerknüllt und in chaotische Ordnung, der üblichen Nutzung. Die Willkür einer Grenzziehung wird als menschliche Fähigkeit mit dem Raum umzugehen thematisiert und gleichzeitig die Möglichkeit einer neuen Raumempfindung eröffnet.
Statt Information zeigt sich hier ein Vakuum.

The underlying element outlines the smallest country in the world

A laboratory

The usual system of marking the Earth’s surface with abstract borders is subverted by alterations in the familiar forms: the map, atomised into tiny parts, removes itself, screwed up and in chaos, from its conventional purpose. The arbitrary drawing up of borders as humans’ way of dealing with spaces is brought into discussion, thereby opening up new possibilities for our perception of space.
Instead of information there is just a vacuum.

Un laboratoire

Le système habituel : partager la surface terrestre avec des frontières abstraites, disparaît avec un changement des formes connues : la carte du pays atomisée en petites unités et froissée dans un ordre chaotique, se détache de son usage habituel.
L’arbitraire du tracé des frontières est ici révélé en tant que capacité humaine à modeler l’espace et en même temps, la possibilité d’inventer de nouveaux espaces est ouverte.
L’information laisse ici la place à un vacuum.
