Andere Räume: Die Zeit.

Im Projekt „Andere Räume. Die Zeit" der Künstlerin Aleksandra Yurieva-Civjane vermischen sich die nur scheinbar voneinander getrennten Sphären von Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft zu einer irritierenden räumlichen Konstellation: Hemden hängen wie Bilder an der Wand, während Kalender aus verschiedenen Jahren in Koffern verpackt liegen.

Sie sind wie das unsichtbare Gepäck unserer Erinnerungen, Erlebnisse und Pläne, das wir immer mit uns tragen. So materiell und gegenständlich die Installation zunächst auch wirken mag. Dargestellt ist hier eine immaterielle Komprimierung von Zeit in einem Raum.

Other Spaces: Time

In the project “Other Spaces. Time” by the artist Aleksandra Yurieva-Civjane, the spheres of past, present and future combine to form a disconcerting 3D arrangement: shirts hang like pictures on a wall while diaries from different years lie packed in suitcases. They are the invisible baggage of our memories, experiences and plans which we permanently carry around with us. As 3D and graphic as these installations may be, what is depicted is the immaterial compression of time in a space.

Autres Espaces: Le Temps.

Dans le projet de l’artiste Aleksandra Yurieva-Civjane « Autres Espaces. Le Temps » passé, présent et futur, ces sphères apparemment séparées, se mêlent en une constellation spatiale déconcertante: des chemises sont accrochées au mur tels des tableaux tandis que des calendriers de différentes années sont enfermés dans des valises. Ils sont comme les bagages invisibles de nos souvenirs, de nos expériences et de nos projets que nous portons toujours avec nous.
Malgré l’effet objectif et matériel que peut avoir au premier abord l’installation, c’est avant tout une compression du temps dans un espace qui est représentée.
